Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

Fondly Post (fondlypost.com) is operated by Awesome Stuff Inc., a California corporation based in Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

Who processes it for us

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies this website needs to work (your cart, your language, your sign-in and your cookie choice). Analytics or advertising tags load only if you accept them in the cookie notice: Metricool (visits and pages viewed).

The people you send to

When we mail a card or ship a gift for you, we keep the name and address of each recipient you give us, and what you tell us about them to pick or write the gift (for example their name on a label, their quirks or an inside joke). We use it only to make, mail and ship that order and to help with it afterwards; it is not used for marketing, not sold and not used to train AI models. Our mailing and gift partners receive only what they need to make and deliver that order.

Secret Santa by invite

When an organizer shares a Secret Santa link, each person who joins gives us their name, address, optionally their email, one wish and one thing people tease them about. The organizer’s dashboard shows names, wishes and those lines, never addresses. We use the address only to ship that person’s gift and the email only to tell them who they got. We delete the group 60 days after the exchange date.

When you ask them for their address

If you choose “Ask them for it”, we keep the recipient’s first name and, if you give it, their email. After you pay we email them (or you send them) a private link where they type their address. We use that email only to ask for the address and that address only for this delivery; we do not tell them what the gift is, and we do not add them to any list.

Adventures by chapters

When you buy an adventure, we also keep the schedule, the inside joke you give us as a clue, the optional riddle and your closing letter, and we record when the recipient taps "Continue" on the private page behind the QR. The page does not show your name until the last chapter. We use this only to run that adventure; we delete it with the order records.

Date reminders (only if you ask)

At checkout you can tick “Remind me next year”. It is never ticked for you. If you do, we keep your email, your language, the recipient’s first name, the occasion and the date, and we send you one email about 10 days before that date next year. Every reminder has a one-click link to stop it (or all of them). We record when you asked and when you stopped.

Gift cards

When you add a gift card, our mailing partner buys it from the brand you pick and mails it inside the card. The recipient claims it online; if it is not claimed within 90 days, we refund you its value (not the service fee).

Your artwork

Your files are used only to produce your order. We do not use your artwork for our marketing or to train AI models. Links to your files expire.

How long we keep it

We keep order records and files as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle reprints and meet tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your rights (including California residents)

You can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing. Email hello@fondlypost.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.
